Improvements

1. Chat interface improvements – Better presentation of Sources

Sources are now presented in card form and are scrollable.

Previously, the sources took up too much vertical space which affected the conversation experience. This update aims to limit how much space the sources will take up in the speech bubble and improve readability.

2. Disable download of Files from generative responses

We’ve received concerns about the ability to download entire files during a generative conversation, as this could show all the information to the end users.

Admins stated a preference for the chatbot to reference this information as Data Sources, without making it visible or accessible.

Platform-wide, we’ve disabled the ability of users to download Files from our Chat interfaces. Data sources from websites remains unchanged and will still be hyperlinked.

If you have a preference to allow for the users to download the Files, do write in to us, and we will configure it accordingly.
