1. Streamlining User and Access Management Changes
We’ve combined User Management and Team Management into New Team Management Page.
Administrators, you no longer have to worry about navigating between different pages to create an account for your team members, and then adding them to your Chat App.
In the improved Team Management Page, you’re able to do both.
Adding team members to your Chat App:
- If they already have a VICA account, their emails would be searchable, and you can add them directly to your Chat App.
- If they DO NOT have a VICA account, simply input their Email, Name, and Role. They will receive an invite to join VICA and be added to your Chat App too.
Other notes:
- Administrators can also remove users’ access to your Chat App using the “X” icon.
- Access Management is controlled at a Chat App level. Administrators of multiple Chat Apps can still control the access of different users to the different Chat Apps.
- The User Management Page has been removed from the Left Navigation Bar. All functions can be performed in the Team Management Page.
2. Download of User Details
We understand that Administrators have to update access to their Chat Apps from time to time due to manpower movements.
We’ve added a new “Download” feature, allowing you to download the details of all Users who have access to your Chat App. This will be helpful in checking with the respective departments or team leads on personnel changes.
P.S. We will be adding one more column to display the Chat App name in the next release.
