Improvements
1. Draft Environment for Data Sources (Gen AI enabled bots)
Most internal-facing bots are Generative AI enabled, meaning the bots are referencing the Data Sources to generate a response.
We note of a key issue where there is no Draft environment to test out the responses in the console, and any changes made are immediately shown to the end users. We’ve improved our console to address this.
Some key interactions to know:
- There is now a draft environment for Data Sources. Any changes made within the Admin Console will remain as Draft and not be shown to the end users.
- Once you’ve uploaded new files or websites in the Admin Console’s draft environment, our systems will automatically read the files and process them. There is no action required from you. Give it a couple of minutes, and you can begin testing within our console.
- Once you’re happy with the testing, use the Publish button to have them updated in the Production environment for your end users to experience.
Note:
*The Publish button will publish all changes in your KB (Q&A Pairs, Custom Dialogue, and now Data Sources) to Production environment. This helps keep the experience consistent when managing the different items within your KB.
2. Improved experience for Data Source Management in GenAI Playground (Non-Gen AI enabled bots)
Most of our public-facing bots are Non-GenAI enabled (meaning the bots are relying on Q&A and Custom Dialogues). The testing of GenAI capabilities is done in the playground. For these group of users, we’ve simplified the experience of the GenAI playground.
Some key interactions to know:
Once you’ve uploaded new files or websites in the Playground, our systems will automatically read the files and process them. There is no action required from you. Give it a couple of minutes, and you can begin testing in our Playground.
With this simplification, we’ve also removed the “Apply to GenAI Playground” button to streamline your testing.
Fixes
1. Platform Median is now showing accurate numbers
There was a bug which caused the Platform Median in our Analytics Console to show an extremely low number (e.g. 2 Queries for Median Total Queries).
This has been fixed, and the numbers on our analytics dashboards are showing the right numbers.
- Stability enhancements
- Various miscellaneous bug fixes
