Improvements
1. Data Source Management for Gen AI
- In the release, we introduce the highly requested feature for Data Source Management. You can now manage your data sources (files and documents) that power the Generative elements of your chatbot, keeping it grounded and accurate.
- This current release is for private-facing chatbots. For public-facing chatbots, it will be available in your GenAI Playground in the next release.
- Where to find Data Source Management?
- Go to your Knowledge Base, KB Management.
- Click on the Data Source.
- Functionality
- VIEW files:
- View all documents you've previously uploaded on the VICA Console.
- ADD new files:
- Select "Add New Data Source" and upload a file (limited to PDF, HTML, TXT, DOCX).

- Use the "Delete" icon to remove outdated/irrelevant files from your Chatbot.
- PUBLISH changes:
- Changes made to Data Sources need to be published to go into effect. Publish them under App Settings, Bot Publishing.

2. Sorting of Active/Inactive Status for Q&A Bank
- Users can sort their Intents by Active/Inactive Status to help them easily manage their knowledge base.
- With this enhancement, all columns in the Q&A Bank and Custom Dialogue can now be either sorted and/or filtered.
3. New Interface for Analytics page (Sessions and Queries)
- We've enhanced our analytics page to give a detailed breakdown of your Chatbot's sessions and queries.
- Total Sessions = Active Sessions + Bounce Sessions
- Active Sessions: Sessions where users have at least one interaction with the chatbot.
- Bounce Sessions: Sessions where users open the chatbot widget and leave without interacting with the chatbot.
- Total Queries = User sent + Event-Triggered
- User Sent: Include queries sent by users or when users select an intent.
- Event-Triggered: Includes all other messages such as Welcome Intent, Thumbs Up/Down ratings, and other fulfilment-related transactions.
